Pool Day

Granola had such a great time at the pool this day. She just laughed and splashed the entire time. She was even dunking her face in the water a bunch. I think she was getting some drinks.

New Park

The county added another park recently down by the library. We usually go to this one early in the morning after returning the previous nights entertainment.

Sleepover

Mom's cousins came up for a visit and Granola was able to have her first sleepover. Her cousin Kaley shared her room for the night. Unfortunately we didn't get any good pics.

The girls really wanted the ball pit in the living room but were unsuccessful.

Outdoor Toys

Mom just had to get Granola some outdoor toys. A small pool and jump-o-lene were the best available local selections. We are currently saving for a slide/ swing combo type thing for the babe.

Another New Chair

Mom had to, it was Handy Manny and on sale. And thanks to Grandma Gibson for the new outfits.

The Hidden Park

We randomly found this park tucked away deep in the woods outside of town. Granola took us on a nice hike through the forest, we needed to spin her around to get here to head back in the direction of the vehicle.

At the Park

We've been getting a lot of time in at the local parks. Swinging and sliding seem to be the favorites.
It was actually really warm today.

July?

Obviously blogging has not been a priority lately. There haven't been that many pictures either. Not sure why. Granola has been enjoying the warmer weather and outdoors a lot this summer. She has picked up a handful of signs lately and the words too. Its been fun being able to communicate with her better. We'll work on getting some picture filled blogs up soon.

Some More Firsts

Granola headed down to Buena Vista yesterday for a hike by the river and a soak in the hot springs. She soaked in the cooler pool with us and had a great time. A couple weeks ago Granola picked up on the bath sign and today she signed it herself and even said it along. We're so proud of her. We'll try to keep up on it and see if she can learn some more. Oh, Happy 4th to everyone, hope you all have a safe and fun holiday.

Mom finally gave the babe a change of hairstyle.

Play Group

Granola went to play group again this past week. It was outdoors this time since the weather was nice.

Silky Smooth

She really enjoys her new silky strawberry Pj's. They're just hard getting up stairs in. She has started walking up the stairs instead of crawling now.
