More Snow Videos
Here are a couple more videos of the babe skiing and snowboarding. I love how she has the balance to scoop up snow and eat it while she rides, pretty funny.

Shredding
This is the run that blew mom and dad away. We cannot believe how well she is taking to both skiing and snowboarding. I think she would have kept snowboarding all day if we would have let her. This was the most fun riding I've had in awhile.

Opening Day 2010
Today was opening day at Copper Mountain. Dad was determined to get Granola her first opening day of riding. Someone hasn't been the best 2 year old lately and we almost didn't go. We made it to the mountain with little incident. We took the main lift up with her skis first and we had her ski the entire run down, with mom and dad of course. You wouldn't think it but helping her down the mountain took a lot out of both mom and dad. We decided to head over to the magic carpet with her snowboard. I was absolutely blown away by her progress from last season. Here are a couple videos of the babe getting some early season runs in. Granola had a blast and I have a feeling we will be at the mountain a lot this year.

Happy Halloween
We had a great Halloween. The babe even went Trick or Treating downtown. Most of the treats will be ours but there are some she can have.
So this blog only took 3 days to complete. For some reason there were issues uploading photos. Not sure why, never had issues before. Hopefully it will resolve itself.

October
Yes, we are alive and well. The blog on the other hand is struggling to stay afloat. We'll try to get the rest of Sept updated and all of Oct in the next week or so, maybe? Fall held on as long as it could, but then winter arrived, quickly. We got about a foot of accumulation over a 3 day period. We'll see if it stays. Granola had some fun playing in the first snow of the season.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiFoT9DC1aDlvejeh3dg0yK9856WcqMsnYlzKYOhVytMZXlmDDXBo5_PfKxmkKFIVsxeADwTSIfXBVg5BWD9OVD1u2xNW_viq8Z-92NsBRNOcpPZtQl9wrf2gxoQhICZ3430e8E0rLbpQ/s400/HPIM7037.JPG)

Skate
We tried to skate a bit one day at Joel's house. She was able to scoot around on her belly and bottom.

Copper Mt. Boating
Back at Copper for a day of playing. Mom was able to take Granola out on the bumper boats this time. They had a lot of fun.

The Train
That weekend was Grandpa Ron's birthday so we all took a ride on the train for something special to do. Granola loved it and so did Grandpa. We got lucky with the weather and had a wonderful morning in the mountains. We've had rain, it seems like almost everyday since the beginning of July.

Visitors
Granola loves it when family comes for visits. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Dixie made it up at the end of July for the weekend. I forget what they were checking out on the computer but it must have been good.

Our Little Artist
Happy Birthday Uncle Dave!!
Granola has really been enjoying all phases of art lately. She's always coloring and has recently started finger painting. She's even taken her gear outside a handful of times.
