Camping

We decided to go camping at Hermit Pass this past week. It was our second go round this summer. The trip went great other than the fact Granola caught her friends "allergies" and slept poorly again. We will have a full night of sleep camping once this summer. Our spot was amazing with numerous small streams running through it that Granola could play in.

The falls were a 30 yd hike from our camp spot.

The week with Aunt Nancy was a lot of fun, to say the least. We were able to see and do quit a bit.

More 4th

Granola really enjoyed the fireworks. I think she was pretty excited that we were able to watch them at the park. She was able to play until almost 10 that night.

Happy 4th!!

We hit up the local parade this morning. We blinked and missed it. Granola did enjoy it and then we went to the park to play with some random kids. Fun day so far, we hope everyone has a Happy 4th of July!!!

Salida Art Walk

We headed down to Salida with Aunt Nancy to meet up with Grandma Dixie and Grandpa Ron for the Art walk this past weekend. Granola loved it. There were people on stilts that kind of scared her, but she shook hands with the very tall woman. She participated by contributing to a local painting celebrating the event. We even had time to swing by the local park for some swinging, of course.

Granola woke up from a nap with some crazy hair the other day. Combing this mess out was fun.
