Copper Mt. Boating

Back at Copper for a day of playing. Mom was able to take Granola out on the bumper boats this time. They had a lot of fun.
Not sure who's more excited about shooting dad?

The Train

That weekend was Grandpa Ron's birthday so we all took a ride on the train for something special to do. Granola loved it and so did Grandpa. We got lucky with the weather and had a wonderful morning in the mountains. We've had rain, it seems like almost everyday since the beginning of July.
Looking back towards Leadville near our stopping point.

She just had to have the train book.

Visitors

Granola loves it when family comes for visits. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Dixie made it up at the end of July for the weekend. I forget what they were checking out on the computer but it must have been good.

Our Little Artist

Happy Birthday Uncle Dave!!
Granola has really been enjoying all phases of art lately. She's always coloring and has recently started finger painting. She's even taken her gear outside a handful of times.

Minturns Park

We always drive by and finally stopped to check out the park in Minturn. Its super nice and right along the river.

Lets Go Bowling

The babe had a great evening at the bowling alley, completing 5 frames on her own and a couple more balls later on in the second game.

Parktime

Just a couple fun pics from the big kid park in town.

Steamboat (The Water Portion)

The Olde Town Hot Springs is an amazing place to take your kids. The babe loved this place.

Getting daring.
She's in there somewhere.

She had to get one last swim in at the hotel before bedtime, or sometime thereafter.

Steamboat

Happy Birthday Mom!! Luckily we remembered on the actual day. We took a short family vacation up to Steamboat to celebrate. It went great and we all had a wonderful time. We were able to escape the rain that seemed to cover the entire state that day. The alpine slide was a hit with Granola, but she was easily distracted from that with the nearby park. After some lunch we headed to the Town Hot Springs. To say Granola had a great time would be an understatement. We even had some time to soak and relax.
