We all headed down to Copper opening day not really expecting to ride based on how Granola was the entire morning. Things turned around once we got to the mountain. She was polite and patient while we waited in line to get our passes, it was a warm wait. And when it was time to hit the slopes, she was ready. Granola took almost ten runs and wanted the "exercise", so she decided to hike up the hill instead of taking the magic carpet. She did really well, even had a couple falls, which were followed up by smiles. All around good opening day of the season for Granola on the hill. This year we're hoping to teach her how to turn and stop on her own.
