Company

We had a visitor this past week which accounts for the lack of posting. Granola has been walking all over the place and has almost fully transitioned over to feeding herself toddler foods. We're going to try and catch up on the past week in a couple of posts. Enjoy the pictures.Her norm now a days, playing in the living room.

Face Plants

Granola gave us a couple good scares lately. Last night she upset herself to the point of almost passing out from holding her breathe. Today she took a nice nose digger into the coffee table. At first it looked like she broke it. She has a nice bruise across the bridge. Granola did not let that spoil her day though. We headed to Avon and did some shopping and she had a great time.

Look Out

Granola went crazy yesterday. She's walking a lot more now. Moving furniture has become a new interest also. She got behind the bar stool and pushed it all around the living room. She started moving a plant stand but that wasn't very safe, so we put an end to that. She also decided that she knew how to climb stairs. It started in the morning by climbing a couple. Once mom made it home she decided to crawl all the way up to the loft to see her, of course dad was close behind. It sure is amazing to see how quickly little ones learn things.She really likes her Halloween/Valentines bear, she gives him lots of hugs.

Walking Tall

Granola has had her first steps, but yesterday she walked around twice for the first time. She had short strolls of about 5-6 ft., but she's doing it.Super excited after walking.


Here's some video footage from this morning, she got some steps in and amazingly did not cry after that fall. Listen for the loud thud.

Slow Month

Been slacking on posts and pictures this month. The little one hit 11 months this past week and we're closing in quickly on a year, yikes.
Mom got a haircut.

Big Day With Grandma

Grandma Dixie and Grandpa Ron came up for the weekend. This allowed dad to get out to a local snowboard comp he helped sponsor, which was greatly appreciated. Granola had a wonderful day with her Grandma.Hanging out with her Grandparents.

Sledding

Granola got out to play again last week. She had a surprise visitor which she really enjoyed.

She gets so excited around dogs. Neptune is an Iditarod champion lead dog. Joel and Marisa adopted him from the local sled dog company for the winter.
Not sure about the jump she just hit with dad on the sled.
